Congratulations to Léo Breton-Allaire and Sébastien Paradis, both partners at Caserne, for officially winning the Type Directors Club Ascenders Award! Created by the Type Directors Club, the Ascenders Award recognizes each year a cohort of exceptional type and design practitioners aged 35 and under. Winners become part of the esteemed and rarefied TDC Ascenders family—a collection of creatives known to be at the apex of their craft. Only a select few winners are chosen each year, making this recognition even more significant. The winners will be celebrated at an event in New York on August 14, 2024.

FORUM 2024 presented by Caserne in collaboration with L’ÉLOI, Hypercodex and UQAM. The theme of this year is hybridity. LINEUP: Fabiola Mejia (ABC Dinamo), Andrea A. Trabucco Campos (Pentagram), JP Lalonde (On), Marie-France Gaudet & Éveline Lupien (Supersystème), Mac Moss Studio, David Rudnick and Rama Sow (The Study).

Caserne was named Design Studio of the Year and won 11 awards in the design category at the ADCC Awards held in Toronto on November 9th. This competition, hosted by the Advertising & Design Club of Canada, recognizes creative excellence in design, digital, and advertising on a national scale.

Marie Chénier, designer at Caserne, won a Young Guns Award! Held annually by The One Club for Creativity, it is one of the most prestigious awards a young creative can receive, with thousands of applications from all around the world and across the creative spectrum received each year.
